Would you trust a Mafia Boss to take the offering for you? Or how about a yard full of ex-cons? Would you want a bunch of men from the state pen to be ushers and greeters at your church? Would you want any of these men to be your pastor, your treasurer or even a friend? What if these once very bad men and women said that Jesus had transformed them, would you trust them? Or would you keep one sharp eye slyly focused on their every move and your fingers crossed behind your back.
